SPRING 2022 DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM - Mrs. Thompson has given all documents and guidelines for students who signed up to receive information about the Lamar University Spring 2022 semester! Mrs. Thompson provided the following to each student: a front page which broke down the needs based on (1) those currently enrolled and (2) those new to the dual credit program, the admissions and enrollment process, application instructions, admission policies and FAQ, the registration request form, the courses available, and the calendar of critical dates.
Dates of note for the near future:
*November 30th (the day students get back from break) Dual Credit application and document deadline. ALL applications, course registration request forms, and transcripts must be submitted to the university by 5 p.m. (if you can turn all of this in before the deadline - please do!) The course registration form, once completed, should be given to Mrs. Thompson. It requires her signature and then she will scan and send this to Lamar University. Transcript requests will be through Miss Cassie in the front office.
*December 10 Test score deadline. All pending test scores must be submitted to the university by 5 p.m. Students can take their TSI right here on campus via Mrs. Thompson. Nervous about the material? The Junior High game has been moved up an hour so that the game can be played with plenty of daylight due to the power outage. Kickoff is 5pm.

Our boys placed 10th overall in the Regional Cross Country meet in Corpus Christi today and our girls placed 17th! All runners improved their times! We are so proud of our athletes!! Go Jackets!!

Monday night was the last game of the season for our junior high volleyball team. They lost their last match to Latexo, but finished 5-2 for the season.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week!
JH football game this week will be played on Thursday at 6pm in Calvert.
Varsity will be at home vs Calvert on Friday. Game time is 7pm.
