The girls had a great day today! 3-0!! They fought hard the entire time and we can’t wait to get back at it tomorrow at 2! And off the court, they also made sure to take care of business!

Our community came through the last week and a half for Chester ISD by providing some amazing meals! Thank y’all so much for supporting our staff as we prepared to welcome our Yellowjackets back! Remember—-
If you want your child to have ANY meds at school (including Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc) they have to bring their own bottle (unopened, in date) and you have to sign the medication form. This form is in your registration packet, but I will have more in my office if needed. If they do not have meds here, I do not have anything to give them.
Students are not allowed to have meds in their backpacks or on person. This includes over the counter meds.
If they take medication every morning, these meds should be given before they get to school to ensure it is effective for first period classes.

Interested in Health Science? Students will be able to take their medical certification exams in the comfort of their own classroom with a live proctor beginning this year!
REMINDER!! VACCINE REQUIREMENTS!!
**Incoming 7th graders are required to have a Meningitis vaccine and a Tdap booster! Sometimes these vaccines are given at 11 year old well-child checkups so if you are unsure if your student has already had it, call the Dr office and verify.
**Incoming Pre-K and all new students are required to be up to date on all vaccines and bring immunization records to enroll.

REMINDER: UPCOMING TSI DATE.
The following information is only for students new to the Lamar Dual Credit Enrollment program and have signed up for the Fall 2022 semester. We have two summer test dates for those needing TSI testing for dual credit enrollment! The following are the summer test dates: June 16 and July 26. Students are to arrive at 8AM and testing will occur in the library. Please visit the following link for study materials: https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students/prepare-for-accuplacer/practice If the student is enrolled in a non-mathematics related course, they will only be taking the ELAR and Essay portions of the TSI. All passing score information, details of the test, etc. can be found on the website provided above; as this is the platform organization in which the students will take their tests. Other TSI related testing will be available in the Fall and Spring of the 2022-2023 school year for those not enrolled in Lamar’s fall dual credit enrollment.
