This is a reminder that students are not allowed to have energy drinks on campus or during extracurricular activities.
Students who experience heart palpitations, anxiety, panic attacks, headaches, high blood pressure, or behavior changes during school often have had an energy drink that day or in the last 24 hours.
In the long run energy drinks can cause kidney damage liver damage, and even lead to stroke, heart attack or cardiac arrest. Everyone is at risk of these effects, but children have a higher risk of negative health effects due to their developing bodies and brains. Thank you for helping us keep our students healthy and safe!
